The project involved a comprehensive renovation of over 50% of the existing docks, along with the addition of several new floating structures — including the Easy Days lounge area with rope-suspended swing seating, the Latin Tiki tiki bar, and updated utility buildings. The architecture pairs dark horizontal wood-plank siding with light metal gable roofs, white-trimmed windows, and a central cupola tower displaying the Sapphire Bay Marina identity. Covered boat slips with galvanized steel frames and corrugated metal roofs shelter vessels ranging from center-console fishing rigs to 60-foot yachts, while a ship store, fuel dock, and 24-hour key card access serve the marina community. Outdoor lounge areas feature fire pits, Adirondack seating, and Edison-string lighting, creating a relaxed, destination-style waterfront environment. With on-site boat rentals, food trucks, and a full calendar of community events, Sapphire Bay Marina has been recognized as one of the premier inland marinas in North Texas.
